Ripple has pledged to contribute one million dollars to the International Rescue Committee, using RLUSD for relief fund transfers
According to CryptoSlate, Ripple announced a new partnership with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and pledged $1 million to explore how its upcoming RLUSD stablecoin and cross-border payment solutions can enhance cash relief and fund transfers in crisis areas. Eric Van Miltenburg, Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning at Ripple, said that Ripple looks forward to leveraging IRC's experience to expand its humanitarian work, helping vulnerable communities quickly, safely and effectively access basic resources.
