According to Jinse Finance, in the future, humans may be able to directly control humanoid robots through brain-computer interfaces. On June 27 local time, Neuralink, the brain-computer interface company founded by Elon Musk, released a one-hour video showcasing their latest research achievements and product development directions. It was revealed that Neuralink currently has seven participants in its trials, including four patients with spinal cord injuries and three with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). These participants are using the related devices frequently, with data showing an average weekly usage of about 50 hours and a peak of over 100 hours. Notably, Alex, a participant with a spinal cord injury, will in the future connect to the Tesla humanoid robot Optimus' robotic hand to perform more complex operations. Musk stated that in the future, people may be able to fully control Optimus' body through Neuralink. (The Paper)
