Data: June CEX Spot Trading Volume Hits Nine-Month Low

According to a report by Jinse Finance citing data from The Block, CEX spot trading volume in June dropped to $1.07 trillion, down from $1.47 trillion in May, marking a nine-month low. Min Jung, a research analyst at Presto Research, stated: Despite Bitcoin remaining stable and not far from its all-time high, the altcoin market is struggling. Most altcoins, including ETH, are still down nearly 40% from their peaks. This indicates that the market is primarily driven by institutional investors buying Bitcoin, while retail participation—typically favoring altcoins—remains relatively subdued.
