BRC20 protocol completes upgrade, introduces Ethereum Virtual Machine integration
Foresight News reported, according to CoinDesk, that the Bitcoin token protocol BRC20 has announced a completed upgrade, introducing Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) integration at Bitcoin block 912,690. This upgrade, led by Ordinals developer Best in Slot and BRC20 founder Domo (referred to as BRC2.0), will bring Ethereum-style smart contract functionality to the Bitcoin ecosystem.
