Water150 took a giant leap toward its goal of becoming the world’s most trusted source of premium spring water, secured via a blockchain-powered ecosystem designed to reserve water for at least 150 years, when it won over the crowd and clinched the Global Financial Innovation Award 2025 at this year’s JFEX event in Amman, Jordan.

This year’s edition of the Jordan Financial Expo and Award (JFEX) delivered in terms of the caliber of government bodies, private corporations, institutional traders, and fintech innovators in the audience, giving Water150 the perfect platform to present its project as a premium water and sustainability brand pioneering blockchain and RWA utility.

The awards section of the event also recognized Water150 for its early success, as the Longhouse Foundation project received the Global Financial Innovation Award 2025 for being the “Most Innovative Sustainability Initiative.” The trophy was a validation of Water150’s reputation as a trusted, regulation-first environmental RWA project and a leader in sustainable blockchain innovation. These peer-voted moments of recognition come as Water150 continues to head full throttle toward finalizing the acquisition of its second well, adding to an ecosystem that already draws from the historic Satra Brunn natural spring well in Sweden, ahead of January 1, 2027, when its portfolio of wells located all over the world plans to kickstart 150 years of uninterrupted supply of annually renewed premium quality, naturally filtered water.

Representing Water150, its founder, Jorgen Ringman was a stand out speaker and attendee throughout the event, delivering impactful sessions and conversations around the science of water quality. His insightful perspectives about TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) and the balance between purity and mineral content were popular messages for the audience, especially the natively Arabic attendees who connected with Water150’s values of protecting and preserving health, family, and trust.

Jorgen Ringman shared the big stage along with a line up of influential speakers such as Muamer Maqam, Managing Partner at Quintus LTC, Suhair Ashqar, organizer of JFEX 2025, Anita Kalergis (CryptoGranny), Dr. Carolina Rios, Crypto & Blockchain Legal Expert, Amro Zakaria, co-founder at Kyoto Network, and Elias Ahonen (the Bitcoin Historian), PhD Researcher in Metaverse Law.

Sherif Saher , the Vice President of Arab Bank (Head of Treasury), one of the largest financial institutions in the Middle East, and Amro Zakaria , Co-founder of the Kyoto Network, were part of the high-profile audience spread across a demographic of policymakers, bankers, ministers and industry heavyweights, who resonated with Water150’s message. The executives expressed interest in Water150’s potential to enable financial instruments tied to real water reserves as well as joint initiatives around verified groundwater drilling and well identification in Africa.

Water150’s Ringman also engaged forums about sustainability and governance, opening new doors for collaboration between Jordan and international partners in securing one of the earth’s most vital and scarce resources — clean, drinking water. Representatives from Jordanian ministries, in particular discussed opportunities for regional water logistics routes between East Africa and Jordan via the Red Sea.

Water150 headed to the Jordan Financial Expo and Award (JFEX) event with plans to make lasting impressions by serving a first glimpse of what premium hydration looks and tastes like in the 21st century. Now, its focus is now fully directed at its upcoming token generation event (TGE), where its fully MiCAR-regulated Water150 token (W150) becomes publicly available for the first time.
