 derivatives market Chicago Mercantile Exchange Group (CME Group) released trading market data, revealing that the average daily trading volume of its platform contracts for the entire year of 2025 was 28.1 million contracts, with an annual growth rate of 6%. Among them, the average daily trading volume of cryptocurrency contracts reached 278,000 contracts (nominal value of 12 billion USD), with an annual growth of 139%; in addition, the average daily trading volume of micro Ethereum futures contracts reached 144,000 contracts, Ethereum futures contracts reached 19,000, and micro Bitcoin futures contracts reached 75,000 contracts.
