Nvidia: Progress on new Rubin chips is going smoothly, helping to accelerate artificial intelligence operations
BlockBeats News, January 6th, Nvidia (NVDA.O) announced that its highly anticipated new "Rubin" data center products will be launched this year, allowing customers to test the technology and accelerate the development of artificial intelligence. Nvidia stated that all six Rubin chips have been delivered from manufacturing partners and have passed several key tests, indicating that customer deployment is proceeding as planned. The newly launched Rubin accelerator offers 3.5 times the training performance of the previous generation Blackwell and runs AI software 5 times faster.
The company emphasized that systems based on Rubin will have lower operating costs than those based on Blackwell, as they achieve the same results with fewer components. It is reported that Microsoft and other major remote computing service providers will be the first to adopt this new hardware in the second half of this year. (Golden Ten Data)
