Nvidia: Strong Demand for H200 Chips in the Chinese Market, Export License Application Submitted

Glonghui, January 6th｜According to Bloomberg, Nvidia Chief Financial Officer Colette Kress stated at an analyst meeting during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas that Nvidia has submitted license applications and the U.S. government is deciding how to handle these applications. Kress said that regardless of whether authorization is ultimately granted, Nvidia's production capacity is sufficient to meet the needs of its Chinese customers and will not affect the supply to customers in other regions around the world. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang also described the demand for H200 chips in the Chinese market as "very strong" during the Consumer Electronics Show. Previously, media reports stated that Nvidia had informed Chinese customers of its plan to begin delivering chips before the Chinese New Year in mid-February 2026, but the specific timing may be adjusted depending on government decisions.
