After failing to be elected as CFTC Chairman, former CFTC Commissioner Brian Quintenz joins the SUI Board of Directors
According to Odaily, former CFTC Commissioner Brian Quintenz was appointed as an independent director of the company’s board on January 5 and will join the audit committee. Brian Quintenz previously served as the head of policy at a16z crypto, and his CFTC chairman nomination was withdrawn last year. SUI Group stated that this move aims to leverage his experience in capital markets and regulation to advance the company’s SUI treasury strategy. As of now, SUI Group’s treasury holds approximately 108 million SUI. In addition, Michael Selig took over as CFTC chairman in December last year.
