Headquartered in Columbus, Indiana, Cummins is preparing to announce its financial results for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2025. On November 6, Cummins stock rose 5.4% following the release of its third-quarter 2025 results, which included an adjusted EPS of $5.59 and revenue of $8.32 billion—both surpassing analyst expectations. The strong performance was driven by robust results in the Power Systems and Distribution segments, with Power Systems revenue climbing 18% to $2 billion and Distribution sales increasing 7% to $3.2 billion, largely due to heightened demand for backup power solutions for data centers.

Analysts maintain a cautiously optimistic stance on Cummins, assigning it a "Moderate Buy" consensus rating. Out of 20 analysts, 11 recommend a "Strong Buy," one suggests a "Moderate Buy," and eight advise holding the stock. The average price target stands at $538.11, indicating a potential upside of 1.2% from current trading levels.
