Former Electric Coin CEO: ECC team collectively resigns and is establishing a new company
Foresight News reported that former Electric Coin CEO Josh Swihart tweeted, "Over the past few weeks, most members of the Bootstrap board (a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to support Zcash and responsible for managing Electric Coin), particularly Zaki Manian, Christina Garman, Alan Fairless, and Michelle Lai (ZCAM), have clearly deviated from Zcash's mission. Yesterday, the entire ECC team left the company after being 'effectively dismissed' by ZCAM. In short, our employment terms were changed, making it impossible for us to perform our duties effectively and with integrity. We are founding a new company, but we remain the same team with the same mission. The Zcash protocol is unaffected."
