PANews, January 8th – According to Fox Business, U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated that the government has begun to include law enforcement-seized bitcoin in its "strategic reserves" and will no longer routinely auction them off. Bessent said the government will not purchase bitcoin on the open market, but will hold the seized assets for the long term.
