US Treasury Secretary: The government has begun adding Bitcoin seized by law enforcement to its "strategic reserves."
according to Fox Business, U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated that the government has begun incorporating law enforcement seized Bitcoin into a "strategic reserve" and will no longer routinely auction it off. Bessent said the government will not purchase Bitcoin on the open market but will hold the seized assets long-term.
