Senate Agriculture Committee Chair considers postponing vote on crypto market bill
Show original
On January 10, it was reported that Senate Agriculture Committee Chairman Boozman is considering postponing the vote on the crypto market structure bill, provided that substantial progress is made in bipartisan negotiations in the coming days. Boozman still plans to move forward with the bill's review process on January 15, but whether to delay the vote will depend on the outcome of negotiations with Democratic Senator Cory Booker. If a breakthrough is achieved in the negotiations this weekend, Boozman may postpone the vote to seek bipartisan support.
