SlowMist: MetaMask phishing scam: attackers impersonate 2FA verification to steal mnemonic phrases.
SlowMist has issued a new phishing scam warning for MetaMask. Attackers are impersonating the "2FA security verification" process, redirecting users through similar domain names to a fake security page with a countdown and "authenticity verification" prompt.
In the final step, the page will ask you to enter your wallet mnemonic/recovery phrase; once entered, your assets will be stolen immediately.
