ZachXBT: Ledger experiences another user data leak due to security issues with payment provider Global-e
BlockBeats News, January 5th, on-chain detective ZachXBT posted on his personal channel that community sources indicate Ledger has experienced another data breach. This time, customer personal data (names and contact information) was leaked through the payment service provider Global-e. Earlier today, customers received the following email notification:
"Global-e recently detected unusual activity on parts of our network. Upon noticing abnormal activity in our cloud system, we immediately took action to contain and ultimately secure the system. We have engaged independent forensic experts to investigate this incident and have confirmed that some personal data, including names and contact information, was improperly accessed."
