Standard Chartered Bank lowers its medium-term outlook for Ethereum: predicts a price of $7,500 by the end of 2026
According to Odaily, Standard Chartered Bank has lowered its medium-term price expectations for Ethereum, reducing its price forecast for Ethereum at the end of 2026 from the previous $12,000 to $7,500, and its price forecast for the end of 2028 from $25,000 to $22,000. Geoffrey Kendrick, the bank’s Global Head of Digital Assets Research, stated that given bitcoin’s continued dominance in the sector, bitcoin’s weaker-than-expected performance has undermined the outlook for all digital assets against the US dollar. However, the bank still expects Ethereum to exceed $40,000 by 2030, raising its long-term forecast target from the previous $30,000. (Cointele)
