MetaZoon Whitepaper
The MetaZoon whitepaper was written and released by the MetaZoon core team at the end of 2024, aiming to address pain points such as asset silos and fragmented user experiences in the current metaverse ecosystem, and to explore the deep application of Web3 technology in virtual worlds.
The theme of the MetaZoon whitepaper is “MetaZoon: Building an Open, Interconnected, Decentralized Metaverse Ecosystem.” What makes MetaZoon unique is its proposal of a “cross-chain digital identity system” and a “programmable virtual asset protocol,” enabling users to seamlessly roam and transfer assets across different metaverse platforms. The significance of MetaZoon lies in laying the foundation for the next-generation metaverse economy, defining new standards for digital assets in virtual worlds, and significantly lowering the threshold for developers to build immersive experiences.
MetaZoon’s original intention is to create a truly community-driven, asset-interoperable, and immersive open metaverse platform. The core viewpoint presented in the MetaZoon whitepaper is: by combining “decentralized identity authentication” with “modular asset protocols,” it is possible to ensure user data sovereignty and asset liquidity while achieving a highly scalable and vibrant metaverse ecosystem.
