How Does Retreeb Work?

Retreeb operates using a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) data structure and leverages the Lachesis aBFT consensus mechanism developed by Fantom Foundation. This technology secures transactions using cryptographic processes while eliminating the need for miners and nodes usually responsible for calculations. Transactions are validated directly from user terminals, and only the keys of the retailer nodes can accept token transactions, ensuring a high level of security and transparency in the process.

The Retreeb protocol executes social smart contracts (SSC), which guarantee the redistribution of the balance of the transaction between the retailers (balance), Retreeb (fee), and the Social Smart Contracts (CSR) project (CSR Fee). This protocol also manages the circulation of fiat financial flow by transfers, ensuring compliance with corporate names or identities and adherence to registration currency zones.
