Bitget P2P merchant upgrade: Starter Merchant Program now live

Bitget is pleased to announce the launch of the Bitget P2P Starter Merchant Program, a new merchant tier designed to lower the entry barrier for qualified users and enhance liquidity on the Bitget P2P marketplace.

What's new: Become a starter merchant with 0 security deposit

Previously, users were required to provide a security deposit to become a P2P merchant. With the Starter Merchant Program, eligible users can now upgrade to the starter merchant status and post P2P advertisements with 0 security deposit, enabling faster access to merchant tools and a smoother growth path.

Eligibility requirements

To qualify as a starter merchant, you must meet all of the following requirements:

• Completed orders in the last 30 days: ≥ 5 (buy + sell orders included)
• Order completion rate in the last 30 days: ≥ 80%
• Unique trading counterparties in the last 30 days: ≥ 5
• Account registration age: ≥ 30 days
• Total transaction amount in the last 6 months: ≥ 500 USDT (or equivalent value in other cryptocurrencies)
