TSMC Surpasses Expectations with Strong Q4 Revenue
On January 9 in Taipei, TSMC, recognized as the leading contract semiconductor manufacturer globally, announced its revenue for the fourth quarter, reaching T$1,046.08 billion (approximately $33.05 billion). This figure is based on Reuters’ analysis of the company’s monthly financial disclosures.
The company’s quarterly revenue not only exceeded analysts’ projections but also marked a 20.45% increase compared to the same period last year. This impressive growth is largely attributed to heightened demand for artificial intelligence technologies.
According to LSEG SmartEstimate, which compiles insights from 20 financial analysts, TSMC was expected to report fourth-quarter revenue of T$1,035.913 billion ($32.73 billion).
