HyperCore's net destruction exceeds 17,000 HYPE in a single day, with the current pace projecting an annualized deflation of over 6 million tokens.
BlockBeats news, on April 2, according to official Hyperliquid data, on April 1, HyperCore repurchased 43,749.54 HYPE at an average price of approximately $36.77, and on the same day distributed 26,657 HYPE to stakers and 24 validator nodes. After offsetting the two, a net total of 17,092 HYPE was permanently burned, resulting in a daily net deflation of about 17,000 tokens. If this pace continues, the annualized deflation rate is estimated to reach approximately 6.15 million tokens. For comparison, Solana issues about 25.19 million new SOL annually through staking and validator node rewards. It is reported that HyperCore's buyback efficiency is negatively correlated with price, thereby smoothing the supply pressure throughout the market cycle.

Alabama becomes the second U.S. state to grant legal status to DAOs
BlockBeats news, on April 2, according to Cointelegraph, the Governor of Alabama signed the “Decentralized Unincorporated Nonprofit Association Act,” making it the second state after Wyoming to grant DAOs legal status. This act provides DAOs with legal standing and limited liability protection, giving them full legal entity status enabling ownership of property, the ability to sue and be sued, and to sign contracts, while individual members and managers are exempt from personal liability. To be eligible, a DAO must have at least 100 members and be formed for a shared nonprofit purpose, such as governing a blockchain network or smart contract system. The policy head of a16z Crypto stated that decentralized governance is at the core of crypto’s future, and this act offers certainty for decentralized communities to build, govern, and scale in the real world. A similar bill in West Virginia has already passed the House and is awaiting the governor’s signature.

Australia cuts fuel tax again to ensure livelihood and supply chain stability
Golden Ten Data reported on April 2 that Australia will further cut fuel taxes to ease the pressure of rising prices on households caused by global supply chain disruptions from the Iran war. As most of Australia’s fuel is imported, the tightened global supply resulting from the Iran conflict has caused the country to face a severe supply shock. In recent weeks, retail fuel prices at gas stations have surged to record highs, with some stations even experiencing stockouts. The center-left government led by Albanese has assured car owners that fuel shipments to the country remain stable, attributing local shortages in some areas to panic buying and distribution bottlenecks rather than actual supply interruptions. In the week ending March 29, the average nationwide cost of petrol and diesel soared to a record 2.52 Australian dollars per liter; however, since the tax cut was announced on Monday, retail prices appear to have eased somewhat.
