Tastylive: US-Iran ceasefire collapses, war trading mode reactivated

Major Banks Ratings | Bank of America: Raises server CPU industry sales forecast, increases target prices for AMD, Arm, and Intel
GroLink News April 20|BofA Securities released a report, raising its sales forecast for the server CPU industry, increasing the compound annual growth rate for server CPU industry sales from 13%/$59 billion to 15%/$71 billion for 2026-2030. The main driving factors include: hyperscale data center operators accelerating spending to address emerging Agentic AI; tight supply and improved product mix leading to higher CPU pricing. At the same time, the bank raised its AMD target price from $280 to $310, with a “Buy” rating; Arm's target price was raised from $155 to $180, with a “Neutral” rating; and Intel's target price was raised from $40 to $48. In the short term, BofA Securities believes AMD is the most favorably positioned, as its product line is leading. Intel is also expected to benefit, but the bank considers the approximately $110 billion increase in its market value over the past three months to be excessive. In the long term, the bank expects CPU market competition to become increasingly fierce, with multiple ARM architecture solutions emerging, including NVIDIA Vera, ARM AGI, and self-developed solutions by major cloud providers.
