Foresight News reported that the National Securities Commission of Argentina (CNV) issued Resolution No. 1125/2026 on April 7, revising the definition of qualified investors and explicitly including virtual assets in the assets eligible for investor qualification. According to the new regulation, virtual assets held by individuals or legal entities can be combined with securities investments and bank deposits. If the total reaches 350,000 UVA (Argentine inflation-linked units), the holder can be recognized as a qualified investor.
