Bittensor Co-Founder: No Authority to Suspend Subnet Emissions, Sale Amount Less Than 1% of Investment On April 10, Bittensor co-founder Const (@const_reborn) responded on Twitter to recent allegations related to Covenant AI. Const stated that he has no authority to suspend emissions, and the previous sale of part of the alpha positions in three subnets was due to those subnets not operating and being in a high code destruction state. The impact of this transaction on emissions is consistent with the buying and selling behavior of regular TAO holders, and he does not possess any special privileges. Regarding management authority, Const clarified that it was Samuel himself who abandoned his Discord channel; he did not remove Samuel's admin role but only temporarily restricted his ability to delete posts that provided honest criticism, which was later restored. Furthermore, he emphasized that the scale of the token sale was less than 1% of his total investment in the team, stating that exercising token trading rights under the dTao system is fundamental to supporting the system's operation.
