Lido community staking module proposes introducing the IDVTC type to improve capital efficiency for independent stakersForesight News reports that the Lido Community Staking Module (CSM) has released a new proposal to introduce a new node operator type called "Identified DVT Cluster" (IDVTC). The proposal aims to allow verified Independent Community Stakers (ICS) to collaboratively operate validators using DVT technology, enhancing operational resilience while optimizing capital efficiency. Since DVT significantly reduces the risk of major slashing and downtime, IDVTC members will benefit from lower collateral requirements. The proposal requires each IDVTC cluster to consist of four independent ICS members, who must use Obol or SSV to operate validators and generate keys via Distributed Key Generation (DKG). This feature is expected to be launched with CSM v3 in the second or third quarter of 2026.

Caixin Futures Energy and Chemical Market View: Crude Oil Fluctuates at High Levels, Focus on the Iran Situation⑴ Crude Oil: High volatility at elevated levels, closely monitoring developments in Iran. Iran's new leader has made tough statements, declaring that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed and that new fronts may be opened if necessary. Attacks on Middle Eastern infrastructure and oil facilities are increasing, combined with production cuts by Middle Eastern countries, keeping the situation tense. Considering that supply reductions from oil-producing countries are unlikely to recover in the short term, prices are expected to remain strong and fluctuate at high levels. ⑵ Fuel Oil: Fluctuating with a strong bias. Attacks on Middle Eastern infrastructure and oil facilities are increasing, and Middle Eastern oil-producing countries are cutting production. Domestic high-sulfur fuel oil has a high dependency on imports, with Iranian high-sulfur fuel oil accounting for 20% of domestic imports. The supply gap is unlikely to recover in the short term, so prices are expected to remain strong and fluctuate at high levels. ⑶ Glass: Fluctuating. Some companies in Shahe have raised prices for small panels, and transactions are acceptable. Inventory declined week-on-week, supply remains low, and the peak season expectation of "golden March and silver April" supports prices, which are expected to fluctuate widely. ⑷ Soda Ash: Bearish. The market remains stable with some fluctuations, and transaction sentiment is average. Downstream demand is lukewarm, with replenishment as needed. Although energy costs provide some support, mid-term supply remains high, driving forces are weak, and prices are expected to fluctuate widely with a weak bias. ⑸ Caustic Soda: Wide fluctuations, short-term bullish. Main downstream delivery volumes have decreased, export orders provide support, and Shandong liquid caustic soda prices continue to rise. Tight raw material supply has led related companies to reduce loads, and overseas plant shutdowns are favorable for exports, so the short-term outlook is bullish. ⑹ Methanol: High volatility at elevated levels, wide fluctuations with a strong bias. Domestic spot prices continue to be strong. Port inventories are decreasing, and arrivals this week are at low levels. Geopolitical conflicts have delayed and reduced methanol imports, and the international situation remains unstable, so methanol continues to show wide fluctuations.
