Institution: The Federal Reserve may believe that the inflation issue can resolve itselfGolden Ten Data reported on March 19 that Sam Stovall, equity market strategist at CFRA, stated, "I think the message the Federal Reserve is conveying is that they are more concerned about the impact of oil prices on inflation, but at the same time, they are telling us they believe the economy remains stable and solid. Their view seems to be that the inflation situation may resolve itself in the short term, thus not adversely affecting the economy: it may just be a speed bump rather than an insurmountable barrier."

U.S. stocks close: All three major indexes fall more than 1% on Federal Reserve meeting dayGolden Ten Data reported on March 19 that U.S. stocks closed on Wednesday. Federal Reserve Chairman Powell's reappointment response pressured the stock market. The Dow Jones initially closed down 1.6%, the S&P 500 Index fell 1.36%, and the Nasdaq dropped 1.46%. SanDisk rose more than 4%, Amazon fell 2.4%, Microsoft and Apple both dropped around 1.5%.
