Eric Balchunas: Bitcoin Volatility Nears Gold Levels
Bloomberg Senior ETF Analyst Eric Balchunas stated on the X platform that Bitcoin volatility and correlation are gradually approaching gold levels, and this trend is being underestimated during the current market correction. He noted that BlackRock's Bitcoin spot ETF (IBIT) has consistently outperformed US equities since the escalation of the Iran conflict, and since its approval, has delivered more than double the excess return compared to the S&P 500 Index ETF (SPY). The "New Stock God" Serenity is optimistic about the glass substrate sector and expects the industry to see a compound growth of over 67%.
Odaily reported that the “new stock god” Serenity stated on the X platform that the Glass Core Substrates market is expected to achieve a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 67.2% starting from 2028, an astonishingly rapid pace. However, the actual scaling time for the industry may be earlier than predicted, with growth expected to begin in the second half of 2026 and enter an accelerated climbing phase in the first half of 2027, rather than waiting until 2028. Serenity pointed out that although there are differing views on the timeline, the overall industry trend remains “correct in direction and extremely strong” for companies like LPKF Laser & Electronics and Absolics, under SKC, which operate in the glass substrate supply chain. Serenity also believes that Co-Packaged Optics (CPO) is still one of the most exponential technology trends currently, but emphasizes that investors should appropriately allocate across multiple high-growth sectors to gain a more comprehensive benefit from the technology cycle.
