Samsung Electronics’ current 2nm yield is reportedly around 55%Golden Finance April 13|According to reports, Samsung Electronics' 2nm process yield has currently reached around 55%. However, this level is about 10% lower than TSMC and is still insufficient to secure important contract manufacturing orders from major fabless companies. Industry insiders pointed out that if further losses from performance binning and backend packaging and testing are considered, Samsung Electronics' final 2nm yield could be as low as 40%. This means that this node is still immature, cannot be delivered stably, and lacks real price competitiveness.
